Title: Imagination

Students used a block drawing method where they started with a single shape and grew their ideas from that center shape. They did not pre-draw these. Students then created blended backgrounds. Students often chose to create contrast using warm and cool colors.  They used their hearts and imaginations to create a bit of visual magic! They referenced Marc Chagall, Vincent van Gogh, Henri Rousseau. And if you are surprised to see a lot of chickens in the young artists' works, just know that Marc Chagall loved chickens too.
