Meet the Artist                    Friedensreich Hundertwasser

Friedensreich Hundertwasser developed abstract patterns in his 20th-century compositions, often using natural forms such as leaves, pebbles, and plants as the starting point. His home in Vienna, Austria often became the focal point in his artwork with winding sidewalks, simplified fences, and round gardens. He created grid-like patterns using a variety of geometric shapes. His repeated shapes in a composition often included spirals and circular patterns radiating from a center point  Nasco
