Mrs. Emily Kenyon Schellenberg

Emily is a living, local artist who works with acrylics in creating portraits that speak to our mind and heart. Her first show was "Go in Shadows."  California State University, Fresno, Conley Gallery.   Her most recent show was held at the Fresno Music Academy and Art, "Melancholy Seen Through Rose-Colored Glasses."

Emily also creates art with watercolors and enjoys making her own sketchbooks and journals.

This was inspired by the color field painters of the 40s/50's. It was an American Movement. Definately modern art.

Book Making is also an Art

More Images of her art and how to make your own rose-colored glasses are coming soon! Enjoy this lyrical dance by some talented dancers.

Sometimes things can be hard. When we look at the world we have to chose to see the good and the beautiful. People who say, "Oh, you are just looking through Rose Colored Glasses," may not realize that the beauty and good is just one breath away.

Ralph Waldo Emerson's  Poem:             Success-     to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know  even one life breathed easier because of you.
