Drawing Landscapes

William Wendt

Known as "the Dean of Western artists" and "Painter Laureate of California," William Wendt was widely considered to be the best landscape painter working in Los Angeles.

Born in San Gabriel, California, Guy Rose became one of California's premier impressionist painters of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and was also a leading figure in the California regionalist movement.

We've explored the internet for what we thought were the most helpful drawing tutorials. And after careful evaluation, we thought these were the most helpful tutorials because of  the tone of the artist's voice was calm and relaxing, the  introduction of the types of materials needed was informative, the ease as to following  along for beginners was appropriate, and the end art work was beautiful. Even though the camera does go out of focus a couple of times, we still felt it was the best. We believe you will appreciate Tyler's videos too. ~Wonder Time Art’s Fourth Graders
