Paint the Sky

Essential Questions

How does engaging in creating art enrich people's lives?

How does making art attune people to their surroundings?

Mother Earth Lends Us her Gravity and Water to Paint the Sky!

Into the Lesson

In order to paint the sky young artists research the sky by laying out on quilts spread out on the grass and just rest and observe the sky. Students describe what they see and also share how cloud watching makes them feel.

Artists will be able to describe the sky and all that is in it through words and images.
