Oh, to be a Dog!

Students create a simple line and to create a puppy and then create a colorful background inspired by famous art or their own environment.

Dogs have been considered to be "Man's Best Friend. I love dogs and have five!  They are definitely some of my best friends. They love me and protect our home. Dogs have been dearly valued and loved it seems throughout time. One of the earliest images we have of someone's dog is from a Roman villa in Pompeii created as a mosaic with the inscription, "Cave Canem" which means "Beware of the Dog," as a warning sign. Today we are going to draw some dog portraits what personality will you want to portray with your art?

Come and Meet My Dogs
